“OVER THE LIMIT, UNDER ARREST” BEGINS THIS WEEK

Police will be stepping up patrols to check for drunk drivers beginning this week. Many local police departments will be participating in the “Over the Limit, Under Arrest” campaign. The stepped up patrols will include sobriety check points, and additional patrols. The program runs from Aug. 20 to Sept. 6. Police are reminding residents ahead of time so that they will call a cab or designate a driver if they go out drinking.
