The Atlantic County Library System/Ventnor will host a free tax assistance outreach event to bring services directly to those who suffered damage or disruption in their lives as a result of Superstorm Sandy. The event will be held on Thursday, March 7 between 5 PM and 7:30 PM. The library is located at 6500 Atlantic Avenue, Ventnor.
This is the first of eleven scheduled outreach assistance events being held through the state during February and March, the height of tax season, to help individuals and businesses prepare their 2012 tax returns.
The events have been organized by the Treasury Department’s Division of Taxation and are being held in towns that suffered heavy damage during Sandy or adjacent communities.
