At Monday night’s Lower Township Council meeting, outgoing clerk Claudia Kammer was the guest of honor. The Lower Township Clerk will be retiring at the end of August after 37 years of service with the township. Many public officials were present to honor Kammer, including two members of the Cape May County Freeholders and other municipal clerks. Kammer was presented with certificates of recognition from Congressman Frank LoBiondo and Gov. Chris Christie. A retirement dinner is planned for her in October.
