The end of Nelson Albano’s career in Trenton is ending badly. The New Jersey Legislature’s ethics panel decided to fine Albano $500 for violating the public’s trust after he tried to get a New Jersey State Trooper in trouble for issuing Albano a speeding ticket. It’s the first fine handed down against a sitting New Jersey lawmaker in over three decades.
