The controversial offshore wind farm that being planned off the Jersey Shore will now be fully owned by the Danish company that is developing it. Wind energy developer Ørsted announced that it is acquiring the remaining 25% stake in the project from NJ’s PSE&G. No financial information was disclosed. The offshore wind project is the first of three approved by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, Ørsted has also been granted rights to develop the second offshore wind project.
