Whether New Jersey should be allowed to have sports betting is back in the courts on Wednesday. The U.S. Third Circuit of Appeals is hearing oral arguments in Philadelphia about whether New Jersey casinos and racetracks should be allowed to offer sports book. The state has lost at every turn in the courts but did get a rehearing with all of the judges in the Third Circuit. The state is trying to get around a federal ban on sports betting by allowing casinos and racetracks to offer sports book but the state wouldn’t regulate it. A decision isn’t expected till the spring or summer.
