The Delaware River and Port Authority is no closer to deciding whether to push back a toll increase on the bridges it maintains between New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The DRPA is in charge of the Betsy Ross, Ben Franklin, Walt Whitman and Commodore Barry bridges. Current toll rate is $4, but would be raised to $5 by the middle of next year. The agency is trying to configure a way to delay the toll hike to help commuters, but it is unclear if they can organize that plan.
