OLIVER MIGHT CONSIDER RUN FOR U.S. SENATE

The field of potential Democratic Senate candidates in 2014 continues to grow. Assembly Speaker Sheila Oliver is considering the possibility. Frank Lautenberg holds the seat that would be up in 2014. He hasn’t officially said one way or another whether he plans to run for reelection. Newark Mayor Cory Booker is already considering a run for that seat. The Star-Ledger was the first to report Oliver’s potential interest. Lautenberg turns 89-years-old this month.
