Add another name to the U.S. Senate race in New Jersey. Assembly Speaker Shelia Oliver will be running for the seat left open by the death of Frank Lautenberg. Oliver filed the paperwork with 3,400 signatures. An Aug. 13 special primary will be held and four Democrats are expected to be in the field. Newark Mayor Cory Booker, Rep. Rush Holt, and Rep. Frank Pallone will all be running as well in the Democrat primary. New Jersey has never been represented by a female U.S. Senator.
