It’s five years in the slammer for Middle Township resident Paul Olexa. Olexa was in court on Friday and received a five year prison term from Judge Ray Batten. Olexa admitted that he fatally shot a friend, Samuel Schmucker, during an alleged hunting accident more than a year ago. Olexa admitted to the killing and received a lesser prison term, and a lesser charge of manslaughter.
