A 24 year old Middle Township man has pleaded guilty to manslaughter in connection with the disappearance of Samuel Schmucker. Cape May County Prosecutor Robert Taylor announced that Paul Olexa has pleaded guilty to a charge of manslaughter after he was charged in connection with Schmucker’s disappearance in January, 2011. Schmucker was last seen walking along Route 47 in Middle Township and three days later, he was reported missing. A news release issued by Taylor says Olexa is cooperating with the investigation.
