Next Wednesday a public meeting will be held in Atlantic City to discuss a proposal for oil drilling off the East Coast. The federal Bureau of Ocean Energy Management will hold an open-house, one-on-one discussion with their staff from 3 to 7 p.m. March 18th at the Sheraton, adjacent to the Atlantic City Convention Center. The meeting is one of the last of 23 similar ones planned across the U.S. to discuss the virtues of the 2017-2022 Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Gas Leasing Draft Proposed Program.
