OCEAN RESCUE THURSDAY MORNING IN OCEAN CITY

A woman and her two children were rescued Thursday morning from the Seventh Street Jetty in Ocean City. The Ocean City Gazette reports that a woman and her two young children were pulled out to sea by a rip current and stranded on the jetty at Seventh Street at about 8am. A surfer on a long board came to their rescue before the Ocean City Fire Department arrived on the scene. The woman had numerous scrapes on her legs from the rocks and was treated at the scene.
