Ocean City will be getting a brand new mayor on Thursday. Jay Gillian won the seat during an election in May. A reorganization meeting will take place at that time. The council will decide the president and vice-president of the city council as well. Also, a resolution will be voted on to consent with the mayor’s appointments of department heads for Ocean City. Finally, a resolution will be voted on to authorize a contract with Jersey Professional Management Corporation for Management Consultant Services.
