Ocean City will have a major election on Tuesday, and the mayor’s seat will be filled. Mayor Sal Perillo decided against running for re-election this year and two men are seeking the top position in Ocean City government. The clear favorite is local businessman Jay Gillian, who operates a popular amusement attraction in the city. He will be challenged by Michael Hinchman. Ocean City voters will also fill three at-large seats on the city council. The field of candidates includes incumbents, new comers, and former members of council.
