OCEAN CITY POLICE SEARCH FOR ROBBERY SUSPECT

Ocean City Police are searching for a man who attempted to rob the local Superfresh supermarket on Friday afternoon.  Police say the man threatened to pull a gun on a store employee while demanding prescription drugs.  The store clerk was slow to respond and the suspect gave up and left the store without any medications.  The suspect left the store through the parking garage; the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office is assisting local police with the investigation.
