OCEAN CITY POLICE SAY LASER POINTERS CAUSING PROBLEMS FOR PILOTS

A number of complaints have been taken from pilots who say laser pointers sold on the Ocean City boardwalk have been used to try and blind them while approaching the Atlantic City Airport. Police have asked merchants to stop selling the high-powered lasers to keep the safety of the pilots. They are legal to sell, but illegal when used to try and blind a pilot temporarily.
