On Wednesday the Ocean City Planning Board gave preliminary approval to the construction of ten small homes on a car dealership parking lot. The Press of Atlantic City reports that the lot is located between Haven and Simpson Avenues on 16th Street and currently leased by Perry-Egan Chevrolet. The proposed project calls for the building of ten Coastal Cottages, two small single-family homes constructed on one lot. The project is designed to provide affordable year-round housing in Ocean City.
