Ocean City beach-goers were cautioned to look out for storm debris this summer by city officials. According to The Press of Atlantic City, officials at Thursday night’s council meeting want people to know that Hurricane Sandy storm debris that was embedded in the sand following the storm, will continue to appear as the sand erodes from foot traffic, wind and water. Debris could include wood, plastic, asphalt, wires and other materials and could be found mostly at the south end of the Ocean City beaches.
