On Tuesday the Ocean City Nor’easters moved on to the next round of the Premier Development League playoffs. The Nor’easters beat the Portland Phoenix 3-1 at the University of New England, in Biddeford, Maine, on the strength of two goals in the first 15 minutes of the match. Portland was the champion of the Northeast Division in the Eastern Conference of the PDL and the Nor’easters finished second in the Mid-Atlantic Division.
