OCEAN CITY MAY RELAX PILE DRIVING RULES ON WEEKENDS

Ocean City’s council meets Thursday night and may relax rules currently in place that restrict pile driving on weekends.  An ordinance change would allow the installation of pile drivings on Saturdays and Sundays; contractors would also have a smaller area in which to notify the public that the pile driving would occur.  Council may also authorize the advertisement for bid for an ambitious back bay dredging project.
