OCEAN CITY MAY DECIDE MONDAY TO FILL VACANT COUNCIL SEAT

Ocean City officials may decide on Monday whether or not to fill a vacant seat on City Council. Council discussed the potential for leaving the seat open during last week’s Council meeting. Michael Allegretto resigned two weeks ago in order to take a permanent position in city government. If no action is taken by October 14th, the seat remains vacant until the May, 2016 election.
