OCEAN CITY MAN BADLY INJURED IN FIRE

A man was severely burned during a residential fire in Ocean City on Wednesday night.  City officials say the man was taken to a Philadelphia hospital after a fire broke out in his apartment complex Wednesday night in the 1500 block of Simpson Avenue.  Firemen had to break into the man’s apartment where they found him severely burned from the fire.  The cause remains under investigation.
