OCEAN CITY IN FINAL STAGES OF MAJOR BEACH FILL

A huge beach fill project in Ocean City is nearing its final stages. City officials say a major beach fill project is moving to the 54th Street beach and moving three blocks south, with a half million cubic yards of sand to be placed in the project area. Nearly one million cubic yards of sand has been placed on the Ocean City beachfront to date during this project. Work should end in about a month.
