Several Ocean City High School students and graduates spoke about bullying at Wednesday’s school board meeting. They shared personal stories with the board of education members, hoping that more would be done to educate students about bullying, and provide more options for bullying victims. The outcry was in response to 17 year-old Maliha Chowdhurry, a high school senior who committed suicide Sunday night. Reportedly, Chowdhurry had been bullied at the school and also battled depression. Ocean City H.S. students wore pink to school on Tuesday in honor of Maliha and a moment of silence was held at the board meeting.
