Ocean City could be one step to placing a skate park in its community. Council approved going out to bid on proposals for the project on Thursday. Mayor Jay Gillian has said that council could be ready to award a contract as early as the next council meeting. The city has already put aside $750,000 for the work, but will get $500,000 back from the Cape May County Open Space program.
