The new turf field at Ocean City High School’s Carey Stadium is expected to be completed by August 19th, just in time for the 2016 football season. Ocean City officials reported that the new turf surface has been laid down, with a cork infill rather than the controversial recycled rubber infill. The city installed the turf field to save money on maintenance and maximize the use of the facility for games and events.
