The Ocean City Council has a decision to make at their meeting today: whether or not to continue funding the city’s Ethics Board. According to The Press of Atlantic City, legal costs are the main reason the mayor has considered cutting funds for the volunteer organization. Mayor Jay Gillian stated in the report that the cost of attorney fees to defend lawsuits may force him to disband the board.
