OCEAN CITY DISCUSSES PROPOSED $72 MILLION BUDGET

Ocean City officials met Thursday night to discuss Mayor Jay Gillian’s proposed $72 million budget.  The budget includes a small half cent increase in the local purpose tax rate.  The city intends to use more than $3 million in surplus funding to help keep the tax rate in check in 2015.     The budget will be introduced in the coming weeks.
