OCEAN CITY COUNCIL TO VOTE ON BASE FLOOD ELEVATION

On Thursday night the Ocean City Council will meet for a public hearing and final vote on its proposed zoning flood elevation changes. The Ocean City Gazette reports the the meeting will be held at the Ocean City Free Public Library at 7 p.m. to discuss and vote on the city’s base flood elevation plus 2 ordinance. The new regulation would change the mandatory height of the first floor of a structure from one foot to two feet above base flood elevation.
