One of the most successful boys basketball coaches in our local history passed away Friday night. Former Ocean City boys basketball coach Jack Boyd suffered a heart attack in Virginia. Boyd served as the basketball coach for 16 seasons and won 227 games. Ocean City won the 1972 Group II title under Boyd who is a member of the Al Carino Basketball Hall of Fame.
