Residents of Ocean City will be barraged from both sides of the BYOB issue leading up to the special referendum on May 8th. Opponents of the measure have formed a political action committee and created a website to fund their campaign. The group has been named the Committee to Preserve Ocean City and was organized by Drew Fasy, who believes the BYOB proposal is bad for Ocean City. Supporters say the local prohibition laws address the sale or manufacture of alcohol, not the consumption.
