OCEAN CITY BOARDWALK COULD BECOME COMPLETELY SMOKE FREE

It may soon be illegal to smoke anywhere on the boardwalk in Ocean City. Council will consider an ordinance on Thursday that would make the change. Currently, smoking is only allowed in certain areas. Breaking the law would result in a fine. The measure is up for a first reading. If it is passed there would be a public hearing on the matter at a later date before it is voted on in a second reading.
