Ocean City’s latest beach project has reached the Fifth Street Jetty. Mayor Jay Gillian says that’s the section of beach where sand is most needed. The newly rebuilt beaches have room for social distancing, according to the mayor, and some beachgoers will continue to be displaced as the beach project moves towards completion.
