A major beach fill initiative will kick off on Friday. Congressman Frank LoBiondo, New Jersey Department of Environmental Commissioner Bob Martin, and local officials will be on hand for the beginning of a beach fill project in Ocean City. It is part one of a three part project that will include Strathmere and Sea Isle City. In total, the federally funded work will cost $57.6 million.
