OCEAN CITY BEACH FILL COULD CONTINUE AT END OF MONTH

A beach fill could continue in Ocean City by the end of the month. A dredge is expected to resume sand pumping on July 31. The work is now not expected to be finished until September. The dredge had to go back for repairs after recently restarting sand pumping operations. The dredge “Liberty Island” is returning from having engine repairs. The work was initially supposed to be completed by July.
