On Thursday Ocean City Council approved the spending of $116,416 for body and car cameras for their police department. The resolution authorized the funding for 15 in-car cameras and 19 body cameras that are expected to be installed by August. The resolution passed unanimously and without comment, as Ocean City joins other shore communities who are using body cameras for police.
