OBAMA VISITS NEW JERSEY MARKING END OF COMBAT OPERATIONS IN AFGHANISTAN

President Barack Obama is in New Jersey on Monday to thank the troops for their service as the end of combat operations was marked in Afghanistan. Gov. Chris Christie is scheduled to appear with Obama at the appearance at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. The two of the them got a working relationship from Hurricane Sandy in 2012. Christie is seen as a presidential candidate in 2016 but is a Republican, while Obama is a Democrat.
