OBAMA VISITS MCGUIRE, LEAVES GARDEN STATE

President Barack Obama spent some time at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst on Monday before taking off from the Garden State before sundown.  The President thanked troops for their service before thousands of military men and women.  Obama told the soldiers that they were home for the holidays and he was happy to have them back on American soil.  This was Obama’s first visit to New Jersey since last year when he toured the state to examine the recovery following Hurricane Sandy.
