President Barack Obama took pen to paper and signed a ban of offshore drilling off the coast of New Jersey. The ban extends from Virginia to Massachusetts. Many lawmakers have been calling for a ban of drilling off the coast, including U.S. Senator Robert Menendez and many local leaders. The area includes nearly 6,000 square miles of area that can’t be drilled into now.
