NTSB RELEASES INFORMATION ON 2009 WOODBINE PLANE CRASH

Fuel starvation is being deemed the cause of a June, 2009 plane crash. The National Transportation Safety Board reviewed the information about the Woodbine crash and determined that the accident was caused by a “loss of engine power due to fuel starvation as a result of the pilot’s improper fuel transfer in flight”. 60-year-old Neville J. Hogan was the pilot and suffered minor injuries in the accident.
