NTSB: LACK OF FUEL CA– USED 2008 BANNER PLANE CRASH

A banner plane that went down in Middle Township in 2008 was caused by a miscalculation in how much fuel remained. The National Transportation Safety Board ruled that the banner plane that went down near the Catalina Motel in July of that year was the fault of the pilot. The fuel tanks were found empty on the plane. The pilot claimed he thought there was another 15 or so minutes of fuel left.
