Plan for some extra time in the voting booth this November. With local and school board elections moving to the fall, this year’s election ballots could be the largest ever. This was the message delivered on Tuesday to the Cape May County Board of Freeholders by County Clerk Rita Fulginiti. The Cape May County Herald reports that Fulginiti expects a larger than ever ballot, with the Presidential election and a full slate of state and local candidates, local ballot questions and school board elections. It’s possible all the names may not fit into one voting machine. The clerk’s office also expects increased mailing costs for the ballots and will keep the Freeholder Board informed of any additional expenses leading up to the elections.
