NORTHFIELD VOTERS APPROVE SCHOOL REFERENDUM

Northfield residents approved essential repairs and upgrades to the Northfield Community School that would cost almost $7.4million. Interim Superintendent Robert Garguilo told NBC 40 that the measure passed and repairs to the roof and HVAC systems can begin. The district has received nearly $3 million in state funding for the project that also includes improvements in security, by replacing fire alarm and phone systems, lighting upgrades and new entry systems.
