Weather has caused delays to a beach fill in Stone Harbor. North Wildwood is waiting in the wings to get a beach fill once the dredge is done in Stone Harbor. North Wildwood Mayor Bill Henfey told 987 The Coast that strong winds last week kept the dredge from pumping sand for a number of days. Henfey says hopefully the weather will cooperate and the city can get their beach fill started by the end of June. Stone Harbor is in the midst of getting a beach fill done following the damage of Hurricane Sandy last fall. North Wildwood is planning to get both its north and south end done, once the project kicks off.
