North Wildwood Police are looking for a flag bandit who struck on the Fourth of July. A very special 10-foot American flag on display was taken from a flagpole early Monday morning. The flag belonged to the Corcoran family, whose son Patrick was killed in the Vietnam War in 1969. The flag that was draped over his casket, had been flown for the past ten years on July 4th in his memory. Police are looking at footage from nearby surveillance cameras for evidence but have no leads in the theft.
