North Wildwood is permitting some drinking in the public right of way. Mayor Patrick Rosenello made the announcement on social media this week. Rosenello says the state’s new order that allows alcoholic beverages to go is causing some issues, and some people are not waiting to get home to enjoy them. Now, some tables and chairs are being set up in the commercial district, in the public right of way, near bars and restaurants so those drinks can be safely consumed.
