NORTH WILDWOOD MAN CHARGED WITH WEAPONS POSSESSION

A man was taken into custody in North Wildwood in possession of a BB style handgun and a .38 caliber handgun. Police say they arrested Mike Hewitt, of the city, for two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon. He was placed in the Cape May County Correctional Center on $50,000 bail.Police were initially called to the 100 block E. 19th Ave. for the report on a disturbance on Saturday.
