The City of North Wildwood was able to finish its major road projects prior to the Fourth of July holiday. The city was working on a number of projects that included New York Ave. North Wildwood Mayor Bill Henfey said the city experienced a number of delays that included weather and the need for some work to be redone on the bottom coat. With increase traffic coming for this past holiday weekend, their goal was complete and roads were ready to greet the many summer tourists this past weekend.
The remainder of piping that was left on the beach from the city’s beach fill project will be removed starting today. The pipes that were not removed were ordered to be left in place while traffic came down this past weekend.
