NORTH WILDWOOD BAILS ON SOLID WASTE DEAL, HIRES ANOTHER CONTRACTOR

North Wildwood officials have bailed on its solid waste contractor and has cut a deal with another company.  City officials issued a press release stating that its broken its deal with Gold Medal Environmental and has entered a contract with Pinelands Recycling.  North Wildwood alleges Gold Medal threatened to leave “trash in the streets” unless it upped its deal with the city due to rising labor and fuel costs.
